PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY

We at Astia-studio care about your privacy and personal data.
This policy describes how we collect and handle your personal information along with cookie policy on our website.

3. Register name

Astia-studio client register. The register consists of two sub registers:

  • Contacts and current clients (A)
  • Newsletter subscribers (B)
  • Astia-studio web shop customer register (C)

5. Purpose of use

We use the client register to maintain client relations and contact along with invoicing (A). We use the information gathered from ordering our Newsletter for informing about our services and campaigns. We also recommend about content that you should find interesting (B). The Astia-studio web shop (C) purchase and billing information is stored in the Astia-studio web shop register. We use the information to deliver the purchased product or service.

We also practice partner and affiliate marketing (see 14. Links to 3rd party websites) as well as use the visitor information with Facebook remarketing tools.

6. Data content

Register includes client name, email, phone number, billing address along with contract and order information (A, C) along with name and email (B).

7. Payment transaction info

The web shop (C) payments are taken care by Bambora. The clients web bank payment and credit card info are not stored on the Astia-studio system as they remain in the payment service provider’s register.

On some cases the payments are done using an invoice. In such cases the payment is dealt by Anssi Kippo.

8. How we collect data?

We collect information directly from the people during phone calls, emails, social media messages and during meetings (A) and Astia-studio’s webshop order form (C).

When ordering our newsletter we receive personal data. Our register also saves information if the newsletter orderer has opened emails we sent them or clicked the links on them. You can anytime forbid the use of your personal data for marketing purposes. You can also cancel our newsletter using a link at the end of the email (B).

10. Regular info assignment and transfer outside EU or ETA

Register information will mainly be not be given outside EU or ETA. However some of the tools we use are owned by international corporations (i.e. Facebook, Google and MailChimp) and a part of their activity is outside EU. Those corporations are a part of EU and USA Privacy Shield Framework program and are committed to follow the EU GDPR.

All information is stored to our system and secured and placed so that unauthorized parties have no access. Manual info is stored in a locked facility. Only Astia-studio register holder has access.

12. Storing personal data

We store personal data as long as needed along with guidelines explained in this privacy policy.

Personal data collected via ordering our newsletter will be stored until the person removes them from MailChimp. In addition the register holder in the beginning of each calendar year will remove the contacts from those who haven’t opened any of the newsletters sent to them or shown no interest to continue ordering our newsletter. You can remove your info by clicking a link on each newsletter. If removing isn’t successful, please contact the register holder at anssi.kippo@astiastudio.fi.

13. Right to access

You the right to know what personal data we have stored about you by sending us a written requested once a year without any expenses. We will deliver the info within a month from the request.

14. Right to correct

You have the right to correct incorrect, incomplete or outdated data by contacting the register holder.

15. Other rights

Registered person has the right to deny our register holder to handle their information for direct marketing communications and surveys. It is possible to request us to remove your information from our register after the required keeping time by the law has expired.

16. Links to 3rd party websites

Our web page can include links to third party websites from which some can be affiliate links that we receive comission. Blog posts with affiliate links are announed with a separate paragraph at the end of the post. Linked pages are not administered by Astia-studio and we do not have any control over their content. A person following the links is responsible to learn the privacy and cookie policy of those pages, how they collect data and other terms of service.

17. Information on cookies

Our services may use “cookies”, a small text file stored on a user’s device for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to track and target interests, to increase website functionality and to develop our business. We store user data for 26 months.

Person must approve cookies for each page. If they do not approve the information gathering, they should not use such pages. Most browsers allow disabling cookies. Learn how to edit your cookie settings on most popular browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari ja Google Chrome. Please note that cookies may be enabled for some services to work right.

We use Google Analytics to create reports about the usage of our web page to improve our services. Learn more about Google Analytics here. You can refuse to give any data to Google Analytics by downloading an addon to your browser.

Our web page uses also sign-in and functional cookies including storing your settings when signing in. We also use Facebook’s targeted advertisement cookies that do not include any personal data.

18. Changes to privacy and cookie policies

Astia-studio reserves a right to modify the privacy and cookie policies from time to time. Current policy is updated April 15th 2020.
